Firewood Digital is an independent game development studio based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Our team is small but ambitious, brimming with ideas and driven by a passion for creating engaging stories, inventive mechanics and memorable worlds.

Our mission is simple – to make games that are fun, distinctive and push the boundaries of what indie games can be. Founded in 2024, the studio began as a collaboration between friends tinkering with concepts and surviving on far too many energy drinks. That side project grew into our debut title Moonlight – a 2D open-world survival crafting game built from a shared love of storytelling and survival systems. expand on this
